That’s the question we ask everyone when we tell them about out newest venture, TEDxAirlie!  TED is this god-like mythical creature, no one seems to know just who TED is or who exactly started TED Talks, but everyone knows about TED!

Well, we are BEYOND excited to be co-organizing a TEDxEvent for Wilmington, NC!  In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.  Planned for March 29^th, 2019, the half-day conference will take place at downtown’s historic Thalian Hall.

TEDxAirlie’s theme is focused on THE BRIDGE.  Bridges, which we can find around the Port City, are iconic structures used to connect people, places and things – precisely what TEDxAirlie will be about.  Speakers’ topics might range from bridging the gap in the workplace for those with disabilities, to bridging a way back to memories for those with Alzheimer’s, to maintaining a family bridge for those affected by addiction.
